Magnesium Glycinate in menopause
Magnesium glycinate is a form of magnesium bound to the amino acid glycine - high absorption and calming effects. Often discussed for perimenopausal insomnia, muscle tension, and mild anxiety. Compared to magnesium oxide or citrate, glycinate is less likely to cause diarrhoea at therapeutic doses. Dose: 200-400mg before bed. A vegetable cellulose capsule makes halal status easier to verify.
