Fracture Risk Calculator for Menopausal Women
A fracture risk-factor assessment based on key factors: age, body mass index, family history, smoking, and steroid use. It gives a general band (higher, moderate, or lower), not an official percentage. For a 10-year risk percentage, use the official FRAX tool with your doctor.
Inputs
How this works
We tally points from your risk factors (age, low BMI, family or personal fracture history, smoking, steroids) and return one of three bands: higher, moderate, or lower.
Interpreting your result
Higher: discuss a bone-density (DEXA) scan and treatment with a specialist. Moderate: a scan may be appropriate if other risk factors are present. Lower: continue prevention with calcium-K2-D3 and weight-bearing exercise. This is not an official FRAX score.
