Editorial Policy

Every piece of content on Panduan Menopaus follows the same process: identify reader need, gather primary sources, draft, fact-check, editor review, language review, bilingual parity check, publish.

1. Our sources

We do not cite from translated content farms (alodokter, hellosehat, apollohospitals, yashodahospitals) as primary sources. Examine.com and Mayo Clinic may be used as supporting analysis but never as primary sources.

2. Writing process

  1. Identify the reader's actual question
  2. Gather 8-15 primary sources for main guides, 4-6 for supporting articles
  3. Draft with clear structure: hook, promise, content, frequently asked questions, sources, byline
  4. Fact-check every number, mechanism claim, and study reference
  5. Editor review (Panduan Menopaus Editorial Team)
  6. Language review to remove vague, generic or unhelpful phrasing
  7. Bilingual parity check (Malay is not a literal translation of English)
  8. Publish with datePublished and dateModified

3. Corrections

Use the official corrections channel when it is published. We respond within 5 business days after domain email is verified. Significant corrections are logged at article footer with date.

For feedback, factual corrections, or privacy enquiries, our editorial, corrections, and privacy policies explain how we handle each request.

4. Editorial independence

No content is influenced by affiliate commission. Supplement rankings reflect evidence and reader value, not commission rates. Where commercial relationships could compromise objectivity, we recuse ourselves.

5. Conflicts of interest

We do not accept payment for favourable coverage. Sample products sent for testing are openly disclosed.
