FRAX Score in menopause
FRAX is a 10-year fracture risk calculator developed by the WHO. It considers factors such as age, body mass index, adult fracture history, family history of hip fracture, smoking, alcohol, and steroid use. A score above 20% (major fracture risk) or above 3% (hip fracture risk) indicates a need for treatment. Available free at frax.shef.ac.uk.
