Hot Flash Trigger in menopause
Hot flush triggers are factors that set off a hot flush episode. Common triggers for Malaysian women: hot drinks (teh tarik, coffee), spicy food (sambal, curry), alcohol, high ambient temperature (tropical climate, low aircond), emotional stress, and sleeping under thick blankets. Identifying your personal triggers through a 4-8 week symptom journal is an effective first step.
