Ramadan Fasting with Menopause in menopause
Ramadan fasting with menopause symptoms can be challenging - hot flushes worsen with dehydration, and fluctuating blood sugar affects mood. Strategies: drink plenty of water at sahur and iftar, sahur with complex foods (oats, legumes), avoid excessive caffeine. For hormone replacement therapy: transdermal patches don't break the fast; oral pills should be taken with food (sahur or iftar). Discuss with obstetrics and gynaecology specialist if symptoms severe.
