Pelvic Floor in menopause
Pelvic floor is the muscle group supporting bladder, uterus, and rectum. After menopause, pelvic floor weakens from estrogen loss, causing urinary leakage and pelvic organ prolapse. Daily Kegel exercises (3 sets of 10 reps) for 6-12 weeks can restore tone.
